Vintage Louis Vuitton Trunks for Sale

Here is a nice complete vintage Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk covered in the desired monogram canvas (circa 1920). The canvas is in good condition showing some signs of travel. Some seam lines on top. This piece has painted metal and Lozine leather trim. Hardware is in good working order(no key). The original handles easily support the trunks weight. Nice quilted lid liner. Two original trays with all straps and hasp. No bad smells or odors. Louis Vuitton label #177934. Rolling casters on base.

Here’s a vintage Louis Vuitton Wardrobe Trunk(circa 1940). It is covered with the desirable hand painted LV monogram canvas with brass and lozine leather trim. Upgraded model with tap feet instead of wood planks. Maintains the original leather handle (though with the weight of this 80-90 year old piece we do not recommend lifting with it). Inside is fitted with a bank of 6 drawers(again upgraded with large handles instead of pull tabs) on one side and hanging wardrobe with a dozen misc. LV hangers and dust ruffle on the other(no shoebox). This piece shows some signs of travel and usage but over all nice condition. Dimensions 44”tall, 22”deep, 22”wide for a variety of uses. No key.

Here’s a very nice Louis Vuitton Ladies Trunk(circa 1920). It is covered in the desirable monogram canvas with strong pattern. High end trim in Lozine and brass. Original owners initials H.P. F. (illegible on right end). Leather handles easier support the trunks weight. Rolling caster on base. Inside is clean and complete. Storage box w/glove boxes on one side and hat basket on the other along with storage tray underneath. Very usable size 36”wide, 21” deep, 23” tall”.

Original Condition(one hasp missing). A picture is worth a thousand words. Here are a half dozen. If you need to ask. This one is not for you.

Here’s a very nice LV Steamer covered in the desirable monogram canvas(circa 1930) and in excellent condition for a trunk of this age showing only slight signs of travel. Top of the line trim in brass and lozine leather. Original patina with polished tacks.(we can polish the lock and latches if desired). Original leather handles support the trunks weight (but they are nearly 100 years old so keep that in mind when using them). The interior is clean and fresh. There are signs of usage but no bad stains or smells. Nice quilted lid liner. Two original trays with straps. Top tray w/ glove box. Rolling casters on base. Original owner initials D.N. on ends. #758276. Dimensions 32”x21.5”x20”. A very usable piece this fits almost anywhere.

Here is nice antique Louis Vuitton steamer trunk. Exterior is in great condition for a piece of this age (circa 1920) and covered in the desirable hand-painted monogram with extremely strong pattern and original patina. A few bumps and bruises from travel. This piece has top-of-the-line brass and lozine leather trim. The original leather handles easily support the trunks weight. All hardware is in good working order (no key). Quilted liner has a couple small holes. No inserts, but the interior is clean with only minor light stains. Rolling casters on base. Initials B on ends. Early script label. Dimensions are 32" long x 20" deep x 22" tall. A unusual and very usable size.

Here is an absolutely superb Louis Vuitton steamer trunk. It is covered in the desirable monogram canvas with extremely strong pattern. Condition is excellent for a trunk of any age(this one is circa 1930). Top of the line "700" series trimmed with Lozine leather and brass. Original owner initials on sides (MBP). Original leather handles will easily support the trunk and a lot more. Rolling casters on base. Inside it just keeps getting better and is nearly like new with no stains or odors of any kind. This piece is complete with original hat basket a tray. A nice piece for the seasoned collector. Trunk #757963. Unusual size for a half-trunk (slightly more cube). Dimensions are 24" wide x 19" deep x 21.5" tall. A good usable size. LV trunks in this condition are nearly impossible to find anymore (even for us). We normally remove all stickers, but the Coronado Crown was so cool we just couldn't do it. If you would like it off, we can remove it for you, but with no guarantee it stays in one piece. No key (but available). You can look for a better piece, but won't find it.

Here's a fabulous Louis Vuitton Chest Trunk Steamer. The exterior is covered in the desirable monogram canvas in excellent shape for a trunk of this age (circa 1910) with only a few bumps, bruises and stretch lines. Early tooled leather and brass trim. The brass handles easily support the massive weight. Rolling casters on base. The interior is clean (some very light staining to quilted lid liner) with no odors or smells. This extremely rare piece is complete. The Chest Trunk model was very well thought-out and allowed the owner to access the drawers and top of the trunk at the same time. Up top is a lady's hat basket on one side and a storage box with insertable trinket and glove box on the other. The front opens to reveal two large storage drawers with cover sheets and tie-down straps (all hasps are complete). This unique model allows you access to the drawers without removing them, as they rest on side guides mounted to the doors. Original owner initials “J.C.H.M. New York” on ends. Dimensions 44" wide x 23" deep x 23" tall. A great piece for the extreme collector as you will probably never see another this complete and in this condition. Here is a wonderful Louis Vuitton Grand Wardrobe Trunk. The exterior is covered in the desirable monogram canvas in great shape for a trunk of this age (circa 1940) showing some signs of travel. Original leather handles should support it though we do not recommend using them due to the trunk’s massive weight. The interior is clean with signs of light usage. No odors or smells. All original items are intact. This model has a lift top to remove hanging items without opening the wardrobe bars. The wardrobe side includes removable shoebox, 8 misc. LV hangers, dust ruffle and tension bar. The bank of drawers on the other has a top divided trinket drawer, 4 standard drawers w/ cover sheets and lower drawer for gentlemen’s hats or derby. Initial H on top end. A good, usable conversation piece that really makes a statement. Dimensions 44" x 26" x 22.5". “Wanamaker Phil, PA” distributor tag.
