Rare Zinc Explorers Trunk

Rarely found, these trunks were covered with Aluminum , Brass, and Zinc to resist bugs from eating through while on safari. One of the few we have owned. Dimensions 48”wide, 24”deep, and 28” tall. Made of zinc. brass and iron hardware w/side straps. Tagged L.V. Brevette. Circa 1880.
