Here's a really nice Antique Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk. The exterior is covered in the desirable hand painted monogram canvas.  Strong pattern and black Lozine leather trim in very good

shape for a trunk of this age(circa 1920) showing some signs of travel and stretch lines. Original handles easier support the weight of this large trunk. Hardware is original and in good working

order(no key). Nice patina. All sides are pictured. The interior is clean and fresh with no oders, smells or bugs. Some light stains from age and usage. This piece maintains it's 3 original trays.

Quilted lid liner. No missing hasp or handles. Initials B.M.N.N. BOSTON on ends. Rolling caster on base. Dimensions 44"x24"x27.5".Louis Vuitton Script label #325132. Sold at Jordon Marsh of Boston.

Maintains the Jordan Marsh resale label for $50.00. Probably from the depression in the 30's when they would buy back expensive items and resale them. A piece that really makes a statement.
